Water level sensor function test

The water level sensor in your homefarm is an important tool for making sure your plants always have enough water available. When the sensor reports an empty water level, the LED of the respective row flashes at intervals of 15 seconds.

To check whether the sensor is working properly, you can do the following:

  1. Unhook the plant box. The sensor should report an empty water level.
  2. On the back panel there is a small white plastic plate on the left-hand side for each row. Hold your hand in front of the sensor. The sensor should report a full water level.
  3. Hook in an empty plant box. The sensor should report an empty water level.
  4. Now fill the water up to the max. line. The sensor should report a full water level.
