    Our lettuces from the homefarm are the crispest you have ever eaten, because they grow in your kitchen. All you have to do is open the plant capsule and put it into our indoor garden systems — the rest happens automatically. After 5–7 weeks you can harvest your first lettuce. We have everything from the classic butterhead lettuce and a crisp burger lettuce through to the versatile Salanova. You can buy every lettuce in the shop as a single-variety 5-pack or as a plant set together with other greens.

    Frequently asked questions about our lettuce

    After inserting the plant capsules into your homefarm, you can harvest your lettuce after about 5 weeks.

    The urbanhive app gives you a rough guide as to when your lettuce is ready to harvest. In principle, though, you can always pick a few leaves in between.

    You can use your harvested lettuce in many ways – classically as a salad with tomato, cucumber and other vegetables, or on a burger. If you're looking for new ideas, take a look at our recipe ideas.
