Herbal tea and tea made from fresh herbs from the homefarm

There's nothing better than enjoying a fresh herbal tea on a cold day. Each cup warms the body and brings a sense of calm. Fresh herbal teas taste best when made from home-grown herbs that haven't been fertilized or treated with insecticides during cultivation and, most importantly, haven't been flown in from distant countries. Otherwise, the herbs are neither particularly fresh nor flavorful.

Peppermint

Peppermint captivates with its aromatic taste and adds a fresh twist to many dishes and drinks, especially in summer. It is particularly popular in brewed tea. Due to its refreshing menthol taste, peppermint is also a pleasant choice for cold winter evenings. When you come home after a long day at work, turn on the kettle, pick a few fresh peppermint leaves from the homefarm, and can enjoy fresh peppermint tea from your favorite mug, then you can truly unwind. Peppermint is also a natural source of Vitamin C and antioxidants.

Lemon Balm

Lemon balm has an intense lemon aroma with a slight bitter note. Ideal for delicious teas and sweet desserts. The gentle lemon-mint aroma of lemon balm pairs well with honey for a soothing tea break. Lemon balm has antioxidant properties and is a natural source of Vitamin C.

Rosemary

Rosemary has a spicy and tart taste. Freshly harvested, it even resembles pine needles. Its essential oils have health-promoting effects. Rosemary is naturally rich in antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant substances. When preparing rosemary tea, a small amount is key.

Sage

Sage has an intense and slightly bitter aroma. It contains numerous essential oils, especially thujone and cineol. For example, it helps with sore throats and strengthens the immune system. Sage tea has a gentle, sweet taste with refreshing, earthy undertones. Many people have found that sage helps them sleep and relax. Sage is a natural source of magnesium, zinc, and vitamins A, C, and E.
