1. What happens in the final phase of a plant?
At the end, plants sometimes produce substances that make the taste more bitter or can even be unhealthy. Some plants start to wilt. At this point, you should at the latest insert a new plant capsule and experience the magic anew

 

2. How do I remove a fully harvested plant and dispose of it?
The easiest way is to remove the plant insert from the plant box and place it on your sink or near your compost bin. Don't forget to remove the white capsule cover, as you will need it again for the next grow. Afterwards, you can dispose of the completely harvested plant, including the plant capsule and root system, in the organic waste.

 

3. Do I need to clean the plant box or other accessories?
We recommend regular cleaning every 6 - 8 weeks. Depending on the condition, it is sufficient to clean the plant box by hand. Simply unhook it, take out the plant inserts, rinse them, and refill with fresh water including liquid nutrients, and the plants will feel good again. Cleaning can thus be perfectly integrated before refilling the planters.
If the deposits are already more advanced or if new plants are being planted, we recommend cleaning the plant box and the individual parts in the dishwasher to give the new plants a perfect start and to prevent pest infestations. The grow covers can also be cleaned in the dishwasher, but not at the highest setting, as they can deform at too high temperatures.
