Wir möchten, dass dein smart Indoor Garten vom ersten Tag an Erfolgserlebnisse liefert. Deshalb geben wir auf jede urbanhive Pflanzenkapsel eine uneingeschränkte Keimgarantie. Sollte eine Pflanze einmal nicht wachsen, ersetzen wir diese kostenlos.

Questions about homefarm
You can grow all plants in the homefarm. From classic herbs, such as basil Genovese, to herbs rarely available in stores, such as coriander or tarragon. You can also easily grow vegetables, flowers, mushrooms, microgreens, and salads.
You can use your own seeds. You can simply use empty plant capsules for this purpose. We call these "experimentation capsules". They already contain important plant nutrients.
A 1.9 m long power cable is included in the delivery, which supplies power to the homefarm. At full capacity (grow mode; 16 hours lighting time), the homefarm consumes 20 watts (a hairdryer consumes 2000 watts).
We have the most efficient smart indoor garden, also confirmed by Stiftung Warentest (04/25). The electricity costs per plant slot per year are only €2.33.
In principle, you can hang your homefarm in any room. However, for good plant growth, a room temperature of 16 - 25 °C should be maintained. There should be a power outlet within a 2 m radius to ensure power supply. Wall mounting is particularly quick and easy. Thanks to the included cleat, the homefarm can be screwed on in just a few steps. You only need to drill 3 holes, insert the dowels, and screw on the cleat. Finally, you hang up the homefarm. The cleat ensures perfect weight distribution.
Alternatively, the homefarm can be flexibly placed in your home with the stand version.
You can also use the homefarm without the app. In this case, it will be set to the default lighting schedule. The lighting schedule starts each day at the time the homefarm was first connected to the power grid. If the homefarm is disconnected from the power grid, the start time will be reset.
The irrigation works automatically. You fill the water tank, which holds 1.5 liters, and the plants self-sufficiently supply themselves with water. The water tank lasts between 3 - 4 weeks. Through the app, you get watering reminders. Complicated plant care is a thing of the past. With the minifarm, it's child's play.

You can grow up to 15 plants simultaneously. All plants continue to grow for months, so you can harvest continuously all year round. Please refer to the harvesting tips in the app. The only exceptions are microgreens and mushrooms.
Harvest yields vary depending on the variety. You can harvest up to 0.2 kg from one lettuce plant capsule.
