Recommended lighting time

Herbs and lettuces grown in a hydroponic system need more light than normal plants. That's why we recommend a lighting time of 16 hours a day.

It is also important, however, that the plants are given a rest phase to regenerate. The rest phase should ideally be at night or in the dark, since the plants are already exposed to daylight.
A lighting time from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. is therefore usually a good framework.
