Both systems are made from recyclable plastic, supported by a durable, powder-coated metal back panel (homefarm only). The focus is on sustainable, robust materials designed for a long service life.

• homefarm: height 50 cm, width 55 cm, depth 15 cm; weight 10.5 kg (empty). It is equipped with three water tanks (1.5 litres each).
• minifarm: height 16 cm, width 55 cm, depth 15 cm; weight 4.5 kg (empty) and has one water tank (1.5 litres).

Both systems are powered by a supplied mains cable. In grow mode (16 hours of lighting per day) the homefarm consumes around 20 watts, which is about the same as a small desk lamp.

• homefarm: power consumption is 20 W, providing energy-saving lighting for up to 15 plants.
• minifarm: power consumption varies between 5 and 20 W depending on the plant LEDs.

Installing the homefarm and minifarm is easy and offers two flexible options:

• Wall mounting: both systems can be securely attached to the wall. The supplied cleat ensures a stable and straightforward installation.
• Free-standing: with the optional stand version, the units can also be placed freely around your home – ideal for maximum flexibility.

Tip: for the best plant growth we recommend a room temperature between 16 and 25 °C.

homefarm: full app control including manual and automatic light management, sensor display, growth tracking, harvesting aids, recipe ideas and a news feed. Over-the-air update technology keeps the app up to date and enables updates for the system.

minifarm: supporting functions such as water level notifications, growth tracking and access to the plant library, but without direct control.

Yes, both the homefarm and the minifarm work without the app. They start with the preset lighting time, which runs daily from the moment you first plug them in.

For the minifarm, the switch2pro system makes it possible to replace basic LEDs with more powerful LED options and thus adapt the light optimally to the plants' needs.
