Our salads from the homefarm are the freshest salads you've ever eaten, because they grow in your kitchen. All you have to do is open the plant capsule and insert it into our indoor garden systems; the rest happens automatically. After 5-7 weeks, you can harvest your first salad. We offer everything from classic lettuce to crisp burger lettuce and versatile Salanova. All salads are available in the shop in single-variety 5-packs or as a plant set with other greens.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Salad

After you have placed the plant capsules in your homefarm, you can harvest your lettuce after about 5 weeks.

The urbanhive app gives you a rough guide as to when your lettuce is ready for harvest. However, you can always pick a few leaves in between.

You can use your harvested lettuce in a variety of ways, for example, traditionally as a salad with tomato, cucumber, and other vegetables, or on a burger. If you're looking for new ideas, then check out our recipe ideas.
